Branch Q2 Accounts Approval – Branch Secretary presented accounts for approval. Approved Proposed – HC Seconded – LB.
Branch Sec’s Report
-ABP Sturminster Newton collective grievance not going well. CH to seek advice and act on recommendations.
_Tolpuddle festival July 2023 cancelled due to inclement weather.
-Proposed motion to 2024 congress. HC presented her motion ‘right to strike bill’ to be summarised for Regional consideration.
-CH to approach Justin Bowden with ‘schools’ motion for support.
-NHS campaign suspended indefinitely. Bryan Hulley not currently at work.
– Branch promotional material. CH to order Polo shirt in Black for VS (XL) and GMB baseball caps.

SLR to report on website stats., and add Val Smith and Neil to website as Asda reps.
Retired Members Report Deferred to next Branch meeting as JP absent.
Any Other Business – LB to develop motion to congress about ‘mental health prescriptions’ and they should be free of charge. MP’s second jobs also being considered by LB.
